Monday Blues? Recharge With These Tips Today and Everyday!

There is something about a Sunday evening that is relaxing and can put you on edge at the same time.  The reminder that Monday is just around the corner can create a sense of anxiety when that long todo list starts to resurface.  Below are a few tips that can keep you recharged on Monday and everyday!

1. There are so many different reasons why you may have a lack of energy.  One very common reason are energy vampires, we all have one!  Whether it's in your personal life or at work you want to avoid people that literally suck the energy right out of you?  Not sure if you have someone like this in your life?  Ever spend time with someone or talk with a particular person on the phone and when you hang up all you want to do is take nap?  That would be an energy vampire! Endless gossip and negativity is not the type of energy you want to surround yourself with.

Quick Fix: Take control and surround yourself with positive people, stay calm and centered.

2. Has your day ever gone by in a blink of an eye and you feel as though you got nothing done? This can add additional stress to your life, falling behind on projects and not feeling accomplished. As a result this can leave you in a pretty snarly mood!

Quick Fix: Limit your time spent on social media like Facebook or Google Hangouts.  Social media can suck you and throw your entire day off track. By limiting your time spent on sites that are not work related you will be able to manage your time better.

I don't know about you but I can't stand CLUTTER, especially in my workspace.  I find it hard to concentrate on any project I might be working on if I am focused on the stack of unorganized workout plans staring at me. According to Linda Rauch Carter author of Move Your Stuff, Change Your Life, by not creating enough room in your home you are cutting yourself off from energy flow leaving you feeling exhausted.

Quick Fix: Try to clean and purge things you don't need every few months.  It's easy to accumulate junk over time.  Keeping things organized with storage bins is also a great way to feel centered and clutter free!
