If You Look Good You Feel Good!

I am a strong believer in the fact that you look as good as you feel. If fitness is a lifestyle for you then it probably affects other aspects of your life as well. One great example of this is how you dress. If you’re used to wearing track pants and a light hoodie during your morning run, then it probably feels comfortable enough for you to wear all day. However, you’ve probably had to stop yourself doing just that, but do you really need to separate your fashion and passions?

Not necessarily.

Use trends to work in your favor! Mindset is everything even down to what you wear. Here are some basic tips on how to dress in that work every day and will support you in sticking to your workouts regularly.

Shorts are all the rage

Bicycle shorts are perfect in the summer, and you can even pick out matching bra/bike shorts sets for a comfortable street-style vibe. Graphic biker shorts are also fairly common when mixed with statement shirts and a plethora of accessories.

Represent your team

If you’re looking for a statement piece to be at the center of your outfit, why not consider baseball shirts or jerseys? These are fashionable pieces that can generally fit in any outfit. Representing your favorite team or sport is a fun and cute idea, and you can generally mix it with a lot of different bottoms and tops to complete the outfit.

Dress for comfort

Whether it’s fabric choices or wearing something slightly oversized, the goal with cute and sporty outfits is to dress for comfort. If something feels far too tight then avoid it. If something is oversized and feels extremely comfortable, go with that. You should have a huge range of motion when you dress in something cute and sporty since you’re not limited by tight clothing. This is part of the appeal of dressing in this style.

Sneakers are a huge deal

It wouldn’t be a cute sporty outfit if it didn’t have a great pair of kicks. Vintage sneakers are a great option here, but you’re generally spoilt for choice when trying to pick a pair of sneakers because the market is filled with outstanding choices. The basic black and white color combination is extremely wearable, and you’ll often find sneaker makers adding a splash of color to make it stand out a little.

Don’t forget the accessories

We also can’t forget to add in a few sporty accessories. A common one we see is a baseball cap, but you can also add a watch with a sporty band, sunglasses, a small waist bag, or even some sweatbands. Accessories are the finishing touches to your outfit that add both style and functionality.

The cute and sporty aesthetic is one of the fastest-growing trends thanks to the versatility and comfort it offers. We hope that this article has given you a few ideas to work with.
