Life Catching Up On You?
Contributing post
Life is not always going to singing and dancing. In fact, life probably hasn’t been about singing and dancing since middle school. At the end of high school, real-life really starts to kick in, you were pressured into choosing subjects that pretty much set you up for the future. You went through all of the hormonal stages that either made your life hell or made you into a tiny adult before your time. Either way, you can probably pinpoint the moment life went downhill, and it won’t have picked up from there. Sure, you’ll have gone through the stages of independence, you’ll be able to travel, you might have your own home. Adult life does have its own perks. But it doesn’t hide the fact that sometimes it can feel like life is catching up on you, and if this is a common feeling you have, maybe it’s time to address it.
Say That Again?
Do you find that you’re asking people to repeat themselves more than you’re understanding what they’re saying? Sometimes it becomes almost a reflex. You can ask people what they said, and then give them an answer before they’ve repeated themselves. But have you got into this habit because you just can’t hear people? So many people put up with this rather than addressing it. Hearing loss is so much more common in younger people nowadays. Because of noise pollution, listening to music loudly, and common ear problems in children can lead to your hearing being affected in adult life. Loss of hearing also has close links to dementia, which is also being reported at younger ages than ever before. It’s so easy to link both of these health issues to the elderly when people as young as 40 are suffering.
Cold After Cold
If you’re the type of person who always seems to be getting ill all of the time, then it’s about time that you thought about what might be causing it. Constant colds are common at this time of year, however, one after the other shouldn’t be happening. It’s a sign of a low immune system. It’s also a sign that you’re not looking after your body as you should be. If you find yourself eating a bad diet, not exercising, and simply not washing your hands, you’re not going to be doing your body any good at all. Simply changing your diet and getting active can help to boost your immune system.
Fatigued For Days
Do you feel like you went to sleep one day and woke up exhausted, and never really recovered? We all do. When life is just so busy we don’t tend to focus on what our body needs. Good food, exercise, plenty of fluids (around 2 liters), and eight hours of sleep a day. If you’re not doing this, how can you expect to walk around with all this energy? If you change all of this and don’t feel any benefits, then book in to see your doctor. It could be that you have a vitamin or iron deficiency.
