Fitness Files: Vanessa Reggiardo
When I first joined Instagram, I was on the hunt for fellow fitness lovers, professionals and enthusiasts. When I came across Vanessa Reggiardo's profile, I LOVED the workouts she offered that both anybody can do or work towards. Vanessa has also been a huge supporter of my posts as I am of hers! NMFIT: Has fitness always been a major part of your life or was there a catalyst/point in your life when you made it more of a focus and priority?
Vanessa Reggiardo (VR): Fitness has been a part of my life for the past 20 years now.
In the beginning it was a hobby and I did it to lose weight but after I took my first step class I knew immediately that fitness was going to be a part of my life forever.
NMFIT: What are a few of your go-to healthy snacks/drinks that help keep you on the straight and narrow?
VR: Low-carb and low-sugar whey protein shakes and high protein high fiber protein bars .
NMFIT: How do you train your mind and stay motivated?
VR: I'm always motivated to workout . That's my favorite part of the day . Even when I'm sick I try to do something . It's good for my mind and distresses me.
NMFIT: How do you change your body? What are your fitness favorites
VR: The major changes in my body was to add a lot of muscle and keep my body fat under 12% all year around . I love to lift heavy weights, HIIT, treadmill routines and indoor cycling.
