NMFIT Teamed Up with Brittney Hope Levine for Marie Claire Live
I had a wonderful afternoon taping the The Fix for Marie Claire with my friend and Lifestyle Expert Brittney Hope Levine.
I shared two of my delicious smoothies from the NMFIT Handbook, that was a hit with both Brittney and the viewers seemed to like the ingredients too!
Below you will find two recipes that were created just for Marie Claire viewers!
Coconut Pomegranate Smoothie (Customized for Marie Claire)
Chia seeds are great anti oxidant and help to keep you feeling full.
- 1 cup of pomegranate coconut water
- ½ a banana
- 1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds
- 2 Ice Cubes
- 1 handful of blueberries
- 1 handful of halved almonds
Preparation: Blend until smooth
Coconut Berry Delight Smoothie (Customized for Marie Claire)
Avocado is filled with fiber, heart healthy and the perfect fill-up food
- 1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds
- 2 ice cubes
- 1 cup of strawberries
- 1 handful of blueberries
- 1 cup of plain coconut water
- ½ an avocado
- 1 sliced Kiwi
Preparation: Place all ingredients in blender, process until smooth.
