NMF: Has fitness always been a major part of your life or was there a catalyst/point in your life when you made it more of a focus and priority?

TL: Yes I've been into fitness from a young age. I remember doing Jane Fonda workout videos with my mother when I was about 8 years old in her bedroom! I did a lot of sports at school and then kept fit when I was at university as it seemed essential to counteract the hours spent sitting studying. I discovered yoga at university and fell in love with it as it made me feel so good.

NMF: What are a few of your go-to healthy snacks/drinks that help keep you on the straight and narrow?

TL: I start the day with fresh lemon and hot water as it has such cleansing properties and is good for the liver. I snack on fruit, rice cakes and humous or avocado and nuts and seeds and have a daily fresh fruit and vegetable juice with spirulina or a smoothie with almond milk, fruit, kale or spinach, nuts, seeds, chia seeds, spirulina and green powders. I also love to drink coconut water.

At Nadia Murdock Fit our motto is “Train Your Mind, Change Your Body” so we must ask:

NMF: How do you train your mind and stay motivated?

TL: The good feeling I get from exercising is enough to motivate me and when I don't exercise I don't feel so energetic or clear headed. I enjoy exercise so it's not a chore for me. It's part of my every day routine and essential to my well being.

NMF: How do you change your body?  What are your fitness favorites?

TL: I do regular Pilates and yoga to strengthen and tone and I enjoy running, dancing, swimming and cycling.
