Celebrity Fitness: Regina King

After being faced with a diagnosis of high blood pressure Regina King decided to bring it down the natural way.  The star of Southland and The Big Bang Theory is known for her strong female charters and impressive physique.   In her interview with Life Script: Healthy Living for Women she discusses the loss of her sister due to heart attack and her own health concerns.  King also shares her workout routine:

What’s your exercise routine?

I always carry [exercise gear] in my car and hit the gym as often as possible, usually 3-4 times a week. I like lifting weights or taking a kickboxing class.

I also have a 75-pound dog – a Shepherd/Lab/Akita mix – that needs a lot of exercise, so we started going on longer hikes. And I’m a volunteer cheerleading coach at my son’s school.

Regina is especially fond of a class called Cardio Barre!
