Barre Babes, Unite!: Nadia Murdock, Michelle DuVall and Shannon Werner
Barre Babes, Unite! was launched with the hopes to create a sense of community among those in the barre world. Barre Babes, Unite! was a one-day community event for all barre lovers! Whether you’re a teacher, studio owner, a barre addict, or brand new to the barre, this event was for you! Over the weekend welcomed all levels of participants!
I am so happy I was able to connect and collaborate with Michelle DuVall (Barre Variations) and Shannon Werner (Relevate). After months of careful and thoughtful planning were able to put together something that no one has ever done before.
Before the event we all shared what we were most excited for:
Nadia Murdock: “I am most excited creating long lasting relationships professionally and personally. Not to mention being in a room of like minded people with positive energy to share.”
Shannon Werner: “I’m excited about SO many things, but here’s two: 1) to partner with like-minded powerhouse women and create a space and experience for others to celebrate movement and each other, and 2) to learn! We rise by lifting others, and that lifting can also happen through learning through the lens of another’s eyes - so excited to learn from Nadia, Michelle, and all our attendees!”
Michelle DuVall: “I’m most excited about creating a bridge between other barres programs and a space where we can all learn and grow together! Nothing better then coming together for the love of barre, community, and fun!”
As promised there was loads of booty-shakin' moves, learning, connection, and FUN! Both instructors and students felt they walked away with something that they could apply to their everyday lives and workouts.
